Zhou Shuangbai, an attending physician at Shanghai Ninth People's Hospital, specializes in rhinoplasty and highly complex nasal revision surgery, with a primary focus on creating natural-looking nasal shapes, mainly straight noses. His style is not rigid; he designs the nasal shape according to each patient's specific facial features and nasal foundation. The radix transition is generally natural and not too high, appearing very natural and smooth. In terms of material selection, silicone and expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE) are generally used for the nasal dorsum; when sculpting the nasal tip, autologous cartilage is more recommended, because the nasal tip created with this material is softer and achieves a natural, born-with appearance.
